Abstract
A hotel franchise is essential an agreement between a hotel chain (franchisor) and a hotel owner (franchisee) whereby the hotel chain allows the owner to make use of the chain’s name and services such as a central reservation system and defined operational procedures, in return for which the hotel owner pays the hotel chain a franchise fee. Under such an agreement, the chain has no ownership or financial interest in the hotel and is not directly responsible for its economic success. Kata kunci : franchise
